I understand that, as an Independent Contractor Interpreter with Interpret This, Inc, I may be asked to demonstrate and provide evidence that I am capable of performing tasks which are pertinent to the job.I hereby request and authorize the companies or persons shown to furnish any information regarding my employment status. I hereby release such companies or persons from all the liability, claims, and damages in connection with the furnishing of such information.I further certify that I am a genuine applicant for a position and this application is being submitted solely for the purpose of seeking a position as an independent contractor interpreter with Interpret This, Inc. that would be performing duties here under as an independent contractor and not as an employee of Interpret This, Inc. As an independent contractor interpreter/translator, I understand that Interpret This, Inc. cannot guarantee me a minimum number of assignments per period of time. This is a freelance position, unless otherwise specified in a written contract. Jobs are assigned according to credentials, education, work experience, linguistic competence, specialization, technical capabilities and requirements from the clients.I represent and warrant that I have read and fully understand the foregoing statement and that this application was completed by me and all entries on it and the information in it is true and to the best of my knowledge.
